7 recovering after Milford nail salon crash

MILFORD - Seven people are recovering Friday after a woman drove her car into a Milford nail salon.

According to police, the 52-year-old woman was trying to park in front of Sun Nails salon on Bridgeport Avenue Thursday when she accidentally stepped on the gas and crashed into the building.

The accident happened at around 3 p.m. while people were getting their nails done. Police say seven people were injured, two of whom were hit directly by the car. Authorities say none of the injuries were serious.

Police say the driver will not face any charges. As for the building, officials say the structure was not compromised.
