71-year-old woman killed in Wilton crash

One woman was killed after the car she was riding in was hit by a dump truck on Route 7.The victim has been identified as

WILTON - One woman was killed after the car she was riding in was hit by a dump truck on Route 7.

The victim has been identified as Merle Singer, 7,1 of Texas.

The driver was her father-in-law, Felix Antedominico, 91, of Wilton.

Police say it happened when Antedominico's car was pulling out of a driveway around 8 a.m.

Police shut down Route 7 was shut down in both directions because of the crash.

In addition to Antedominico, two others in the car were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The driver of the dump truck was not hurt.
