BRIDGEPORT - State officials say they have now identified eight human cases of West Nile virus in Connecticut this year.

They say six of those cases are Bridgeport residents.

The other cases are from Shelton and New Haven.

The eight people are between the ages of 30 and 90.

One person is still in the hospital.
