DARIEN - An 8-year-old girl has made it to the top of the charts writing mystery novels for kids, and she does it all with the help of her grandfather.

Keira Ely wrote a book titled "The Case of the Missing Crown Jewels," and it made its debut in June, quickly becoming Amazon.com's number one new release.

Keira and her grandpa, Robert Martin, meet at the Wee Burn Beach Club in Rowayton to write their books together.
