BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man faced a judge today after police say he shot and killed a dog in September.

Bridgeport police arrested Donnell Williams, 22, yesterday at his apartment for the shooting.

Investigators say Williams shot Buddy on Harbor Avenue after he claimed the dog had been aggressive toward him, however neighbors argued otherwise.

Police say when they raided Williams' apartment on Brewster Street, they found drugs and guns.
