BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport man was arraigned in court this morning on charges that he stabbed his pregnant girlfriend and her grandmother to death.

The bodies of Yelisza Delvalle, 23, and Ignasa Delvalle, 79, were discovered Sunday in their home on Iranistan Avenue in the Marina Village housing complex.

According to court records, Garcia confessed to the killings and told police that he was smoking crack and taking prescription drugs when he exploded into a violent rage after he broke his crack pipe and stabbed the women to death.

Garcia is due back in court on June 22. He remains in jail on $2 million bond.
