NORWALK - Two men accused of scamming people into unnecessary auto repairs appeared in court today.

Police say Steven Demetro and Sean Demetro approached people at a Westport Stop and Shop offering the repairs. Police say that after agreeing to do the repairs, the brothers would force them to pay more than agreed upon.

Officials say the men did not have mechanics licenses.

Police in Greenwich say they are looking into the possibility the men are connected to a similar scam there.
