NORWALK - Two men accused in the murder of a Norwalk gas station attendant appeared in court today.
Police say Alain LeConte and Mustafa Jacobs robbed the Shell station on West Avenue last year. They say they believe LeConte fatally shot the attendant, Jose Joaquin Morales, in the head.
LeConte was also in court yesterday, accused in a similar crime in Greenwich where the clerk was shot, but survived.
The Morales family says it is bracing for a long court battle that will hopefully end with two convictions.
The judge set bonds for LeConte at $1 million and Jacobs at $3 million.
