STRATFORD - A Stratford man who police say used paint thinner to vandalize several cars is going before a judge in Bridgeport today.

Investigators say Michael Andrukevich, 49, may have poured paint thinner on more than 40 vehicles throughout the area.

Police say the arrest of Andrukevich ends a two-week long stretch of vandalism that kept many residents on edge.

They say Andrukevich's mother claimed he had medical issues when he was arrested.
