WILTON - The Wilton man who allegedly murdered his father after hearing voices is now out of jail and in a state psychiatric hospital, according to his lawyer.

Court officials says the mother of Aaron Ramsey put up $1 million bond on Wednesday.

Police say the 22-year-old beat and stabbed his father in their home on Signal Hill Road.

Ramsey has been involuntarily committed to the Connecticut Valley Hospital. Prosecutors say it is a lock-facility, the same one where they send people found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Ramsey will be at another hearing on Tuesday where his bond will be discussed.
