GREENWICH - Hundreds of mourners packed Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Greenwich Friday to remember a beloved children?s librarian mowed down by a suspected drunken driver.

Kathy Kransniewicz?s friends and family say the community has lost a woman with a big heart and caring soul. Mourners credit the beloved librarian with touching everyone?s life whom she came into contact with.

Kransniewicz and her colleague Kate McClelland died after an alleged drunken driver rammed into their taxi in Colorado. The two librarians were out west for a conference.

Sandra Lee Jacobson, the woman allegedly responsible for the deaths, was charged by Denver prosecutors with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident and drunken driving.
