GREENWICH - Aerial yoga is gaining popularity at a studio in Greenwich.

Aerial yoga combines yoga with aerial arts. It is offered at the Mantra, Mind, Body studio in Greenwich. Owner Carla Zilka opened the studio after leaving her job on Wall Street.

Participants use a nylon hammock to do yoga poses while being suspended in the air. Despite looking challenging, Zilka says the workout can be done by anyone.

"We have clients from 5 years old to 72," says Zilka. "So there's different variations for everybody."

The studio has about 100 clients and classes are $30. A safety class is also offered for beginners.
