BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport father who recently lost his job says he got an early Christmas miracle Sunday.

Juan Rodriguez says he had been worried about where he was going to find money to buy gifts for his children.

Rodriguez and his family contacted News 12 and was put in touch with nonprofit group Al's Angels, who provided them with gifts.

He says he would never have been able to afford to buy his family presents.

Rodriguez says he had been praying for a miracle, and his prayers have been answered.

"God sent me an angel and I appreciate it so much," he says.
