Alleged Darien robber leaves contact information behind

DARIEN - Darien police say a robbery suspect was caught after he left behind his contact information on a sticky note.

Investigators say Zack Hession stole a tip jar off the counter at Michael Joseph's Catering on Post Road.

They say Hession went inside to get lunch and also inquired about a job.  Hession then allegedly took some bills out of the tip jar and put them in his pocket, then put the jar itself in his pants, all of which was allegedly caught on a surveillance camera.

Police say because Hession left his name and phone number to find out about a job with the company, they had an easy time tracking him down and arresting him.
