BRIDGEPORT - A study released by Allstate Insurance says that Bridgeport is the 11th most accident-prone city for drivers.

The survey says the average Bridgeport driver gets into an accident every seven years. Residents in the area corroborate the study, saying that people often drive too quickly.

Bridgeport police say they are attempting to curb the number of collisions in the region.

The study ranked Washington, D.C. as the most accident-prone city.
