SOUTHPORT - A woman in Southport says her American flag was vandalized in front of her home.

The flag was supposed to be displayed on a pole in Judy Byman's front yard, but she says she woke up Saturday morning to find it thrown into a tree.

She says this is the third time in the past year the flag has been vandalized.

Byman says that despite the vandalism, she will be replacing the flagpole.
