COS COB - Firefighters from the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Department ordered more American flags today for the Mianus River Bridge, after the flags there were vandalized for the third time this month. Firefighters say vandals snapped the flagpoles and snatched the flags. Greenwich police have gotten involved and say they have surveillance video of the incident from Saturday night. Firefighters are hoping for donations from the public to help cover the cost of new flagpoles. Greenwich police are urging the public to call with any information about the flag vandals.
