Anand Amin accused in Fairfield modeling scam involving Gucci Top Modeling

FAIRFIELD - A man is being held on $100,000 bond for allegedly creating a fake modeling agency and using it to extort multiple women.

Anand Amin, 24, was arrested by Fairfield police.

Investigators say he claimed to run the Gucci Top Modeling company and convinced several victims to give him their personal information, pay a fee and submit a nude picture.

Amin allegedly then used the pictures to coerce some of the women to pay him large sums of money or to perform sexual acts.

Police say there is no evidence that any women ever received work through Gucci Top Modeling.
