STAMFORD - Hundreds of local Republicans turned out Monday night to support the wife of GOP front runner Mitt Romney.

Ann Romney was the keynote speaker at the 34th annual Prescott Bush Awards Dinner, held at the Marriott in Stamford.

News 12 Connecticut reported that Romney spoke about her husband's political success and his chances of winning the presidency in November.

A Quinnipiac University poll released last week shows that Mitt Romney has 42 percent of the GOP vote in Connecticut.
