WILTON - A Wilton woman has lost one arm and part of another in a dog attack.

Police say Anne Murray, 65, was attacked at her home on the corner of Buckboard Ridge and Range roads Monday.

Murray was underneath a car in the driveway when officers arrived.

Officers say she had bite marks all over her body and they had no choice but to shoot and kill the pit bull.

A representative of the Connecticut Humane Society says that the attack had nothing to do with the fact that the dog was a pit bull.

The dog will be tested for rabies.
