FAIRFIELD - Hundreds of Fairfield residents braved the early morning wind to participate in an annual run for charity.

Runners gathered at Tomlinson Middle School for the annual Donnelly Dash, in honor of Tim and Kim Donnelly who were shot and killed in their Fairfield jewelry store in February 2005.

Tara Donnelly, the couple's daughter, says the race is a great way to remember her parents.

Money raised at the event supports several local charities.
