Ansonia man arrested for allegedly stealing items from home

They say the homeowner told them Christophe Esteves rang the doorbell and when the homeowner didn't answer, Esteves went around back and into his shed.

ORANGE - Police in Orange say an Ansonia man is facing burglary charges after a local homeowner caught him sneaking around his property.

They say the homeowner told them Christophe Esteves rang the doorbell and when the homeowner didn't answer, Esteves went around back and into his shed.

Police say soon after, they got a report of a similar incident and stopped Esteves as he was driving by.

Officials say they found several stolen items in his pickup truck.
