Levinson says he sent out emails to faculty and students informing them of the incident and saying this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. School officials won't say what the slur read, but they do say that this is the first time something like this has happened at the school.

School officials say campus police are investigating. Levinson says the person responsible could be expelled and may face criminal charges.
