NORWALK - Norwalk Community College officials are investigating an anti-gay slur that was written on the wall of a bathroom stall.

Officials say the anti-gay slur was written in a second-floor bathroom in the West Campus building.

NCC President David Levinson says the slur was written in erasable marker and has since been removed.

Levinson says he sent out emails to faculty and students informing them of the incident and saying this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. School officials won't say what the slur read, but they do say that this is the first time something like this has happened at the school.

School officials say campus police are investigating. Levinson says the person responsible could be expelled and may face criminal charges.
