Armed robber hits Bridgeport KFC

Bridgeport police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Kentucky Fried Chicken late last night. Investigators say a suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Kentucky Fried Chicken late last night. Investigators say a suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun barged through the back door, forced an employee toward the back and stole cash. They say he then moved to the front counter before fleeing the building on Boston Avenue. Employees say they were able to pass a detailed description on to police, who are reviewing surveillance video of the robbery. Anyone with information is urged to call Bridgeport police at 203-576-7671.
