BRIDGEPORT - A rash of armed robberies in Bridgeport has business owners in fear and taking steps to ensure their customer and employees' safety.

The latest business to fall victim was a Pep Boys held up Thursday. Six nearby businesses have also been robbed at gunpoint recently. Residents have also reported being robbed close to the stores.

"People are getting shot over $25," says Ann Donalvson, an employee at a pizzeria across the street from Pep Boys. "That's scary."
