GREENWICH - A New York socialite has been arrested and charged with stealing an $11,000 scarf from a shop in Greenwich.

Beata Bohman, 38, of Manhattan, a self-described former model and fashion designer, was arrested yesterday afternoon outside Richards on Greenwich Avenue.

Police say she acknowledged taking the scarf and told them she had planned to return it.
