Arrest made in Bridgeport home invasion

BRIDGEPORT - One person is under arrest and police are searching for another after a home invasion in Bridgeport early this morning.

Police say the victim was approached as he got home from work at around 1:30 a.m.

The victim says he was pistol whipped on the street and then forced inside, where the robbers stole $1,500.

Police say the robbers then held the man and his fiancee at gunpoint while the woman's children hid upstairs.

Police arrested Terrence Robinson, 40, down the street from the house. The victim says he knew Robinson through a mutual friend and suspects he was targeted.
