Arrest made in Bridgeport murder

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police have made an arrest in a fatal drive-by shooting that happened early this morning.

Police say Randy Dixon, 25, shot Lawrence Acevedo to death at around 1:30 a.m. on Capitol Avenue.

Investigators say witnesses told them Dixon fired multiple shots at the 25-year-old through his car window following a heated argument between the two.

Police made the arrest a few hours later after they say Dixon fled to Norwalk.

Dixon is being held on a $1 million bond.
