Arrest made in Bridgeport shooting

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say a man is under arrest in connection with a shooting on Vanguard Street.Police say the suspect, 22-year-old Juliano Upshaw, opened fire on a man who was standing on the street at around 11:30 a.m. The two have had a long-standing personal dispute, police say.No one was hurt in the shooting.Upshaw was arrested on Barnum Avenue in Stratford shortly after the shooting. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of an unspecified injury, then taken into police custody, according to officials.

Police say the fight between Upshaw and the victim had been going on for about a year.
