STAMFORD - A Stamford man was arraigned on manslaughter, assault and driving under the influence charges today in connection with a fatal crash last month.

Police say 20-year-old Jamie Mejia had a blood alcohol level of .21, more than 10 times the legal limit for a person under 21, when he crashed into a car driven by Miriam Vega on March 21.

Mejia made bond of $20,000. He's due back in court in May.
