MILFORD - Milford police say the community helped catch a man who held up a bank yesterday.

Police say Mark Henderson, 44, of the Bronx, entered Webster Bank on Broad Street with what looked like a flare gun.

Police say after the heist, witnesses spotted Henderson running toward Lisman Landing at Milford Harbor. Henderson then allegedly jumped over a railing, onto a dock and then into the water where police were able to take him into custody.

According to authorities, Henderson was taken to the hospital for injuries he received from that jump.
