Arrest made in Milford motel robbery

MILFORD - Police have arrested a New Haven man in connection with the attempted robbery of a Milford motel.

Police say Randy Moore, 37, tried to rob the Milford Lodge on Old Gate Lane in February.

They say he tried to climb over the counter with a weapon in his hand, but he did not get any money.

Officials say Moore is currently behind bars for robbing the Hampton Inn Hotel in Milford at knife point in April.

Police say at the time of his arrest, he confessed to other armed robberies in the area.
