WOODBRIDGE - A New Haven man is facing charges after Woodbridge police say he was found in the basement of a home stealing copper pipes.

They say the owner of the home on Litchfield Turnpike called them Monday morning after hearing suspicious noises downstairs.

Police say they found Eric Manley in the basement where they say he was trying to steal copper pipes and fittings.

They say Manley was also wanted by state and Waterbury police.
