BRIDGEPORT - The attorney of a Bridgeport murder suspect said in court today that his client used justifiable force.

Carl Tomlin, 25, is charged with shooting Carlos Broadnax, 32, inside a pool hall in March.

Tomlin was arrested near his mother's home in North Carolina last month and was brought back to Connecticut this week.

The judge set Tomlin's bond at $1 million and he is due back in court in two weeks.
