BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Charges have been filed against a Bridgeport woman who police say killed a 21-year-old woman from New Haven in a Brooklyn car crash.

Police say 23-year-old Ayisha Dobson was driving under the influence when she struck a divider on the Williamsburg Bridge near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway at around 4 a.m. Monday.

Police say Janice Brown, one of Dobson's passengers, was thrown from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
