BRIDGEPORT - A bake sale was held today to raise money for a little boy who was struck by a hit-and-run driver last month.

Local shops at the Arcade Mall pitched in to set up a stand called "Cookies for Corey" to raise money for 2-year-old Corey Gordon Jr.

As News 12 Connecticut has reported, the child is in the ICU after he was a struck by a car while holding his mother's hand on Capitol Avenue late last month. A family member who helped organize the event says Corey's family needs help with his mounting medical bills.

Police are still looking for the driver who struck the boy, and they're asking anyone with information to contact them.
