Battle for Bridgeport mayoral seat heats up

BRIDGEPORT - Now that Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch has won the Democratic primary, all eyes are on the general election in November.

Finch will next face off against Republican candidate Rick Torres.  Torres faces an uphill battle since the city is heavily Democratic.

However, Torres says people are very much mistaken if they think Finch has the race all sewn up.  The local business owner says many of the disenchanted Democrats who threw their support to Mary-Jane Foster in yesterday's primary have already promised to support him on Election Day.
