New Canaan police say a bicyclist was injured Saturday morning in a collision with a car.

NEW CANAAN - New Canaan police say a bicyclist was injured Saturday morning in a collision with a car.

The incident happened near the intersection of Oenoke Ridge and Lambert roads around 9 a.m.

Police say the bicyclist was fortunately wearing a helmet.

Officials say the bicyclist was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
