Black Rock residents concerned after assault

BRIDGEPORT - Residents in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport are demanding police protection after a woman was sexually assaulted in her home last month.

Police Chief Joe Gaudett met with neighbors Wednesday night to discuss crime in the area.

Gaudett told residents the area was safe and that there are already seven officers assigned to the neighborhood.

He also says the department is doing everything it can to solve the assault.
