STRATFORD - With temperatures warming up, southwestern Connecticut residents are being told to prepare for potential flooding. Paul Plouffe, from Service Master of Greater Bridgeport, says that residents should get a perimeter curtain draining system installed, which directs water toward a sump pump. Plouffe suggests that homeowners contact their insurance companies today to see if groundwater flooding is covered under their policies.
