NEW LONDON - (AP) - Former wrestling executive andRepublican Linda McMahon says Connecticut voters have learned inrecent months that her opponent in the U.S. Senate race, DemocraticAttorney General Richard Blumenthal, has "great difficulty tellingthe truth." In an often unruly debate Tuesday night at the Garde Arts Centerin New London, Blumenthal shot back, saying he would not belectured by the former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment. Heaccused her of badly treating her employees and said sevenwrestlers have died since she began running for the seat. The two are locked in a testy campaign to replace Sen. ChrisDodd, who is retiring. Outside the theater, Blumenthal supporters brought a large,inflatible "fat cat" with the name Linda McMahon around its neck,while McMahon supporters tried to shout them down with chants of"Linda! Linda! Linda!"
