NORWALK - The two candidates for Senate went face-to-face in Norwalk yesterday for a debate.

Republican Linda McMahon and Democrat Richard Blumenthal sparred over several topics.

Each candidate had two points they kept driving home. First, that he or she is best qualified to help create jobs and look out for Connecticut workers and small business owners.

The second point they focused on was that the other candidate can't be trusted. McMahon talked about how Blumenthal supposedly made false claims about his past service record while he questioned her practices as a wrestling executive.
