NORWALK - The nation's economic doldrums are being taken into account by organizers of the annual Boat Show & Waterfront Festival in Norwalk.

Organizers say they are charging a lower admission this year and kids under the age of 15 are being allowed in free to the event, which began Thursday.

What hasn't changed, organizers say, are the event's signature attractions, such as a 92-foot boat that sells for $5.5 million.
