STAMFORD - Stamford police found a series of items that could be used to make explosives in a home morning yesterday.

Police were at the home yesterday with the health department to see if the homeowner was running an illegal boarding house. Police say they were shocked to find guns inside with items that could be used to make explosives.

Investigators are trying to ascertain the intent of the homeowner and have not determined whether the homeowner will face charges.
