FAIRFIELD - Boston University's women's softball team was in Connecticut today to face off against Sacred Heart University following an emotional and frightening week.

Players say the game was a much-needed break from the chaos following the Boston Marathon bombings.

The two teams honored victims of the bombings with a moment of silence before the game. Boston University players wore hair ribbons in the marathon's color theme to remember those lost and injured in the attacks.

Boston University beat Sacred Heart 8-0.
