Bpt. man accused of murder appears in court

BRIDGEPORT - The man who allegedly fatally shot his wife in their North End home appeared in court Wednesday.

Court documents and information learned at the hearing stated that the man, 58-year-old Frank Dore, was taking medication for a mental health disorder. The documents also revealed that Dore may have a drinking problem.

Dore was ordered to cease all contact with his 11-year-old daughter, who police say was present at the time of the shooting.

According to reports, police were called to Dore's house Tuesday morning to respond to an alleged domestic dispute. Patti Dore's body was found lying face up inside the house.
