BRIDGEPORT - Some Catholics in Bridgeport say they're outraged over a plan to end some services and merge churches together.

Holy Rosary Church will be combining with another congregation and moved to another church in mid-January, but parishioners say they won't let it happen without a fight.

Our Lady of Good Counsel, Saint Raphael and Saint Ambrose are also facing similar changes. Bishop William Lori met with members of each church to explain the decision, which he says isn't financially based, but is a way to better respond to the pastoral needs of the city.
