BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport dry cleaner is helping firefighters get ready to pay their respects to two fallen colleagues by offering their services for free.

Lt. Stephen Velasquez and firefighter Mitch Baik died while responding to a call on Saturday.

Pembroke Cleaners is offering to clean and press firefighters? dress blue uniforms without charge in advance of the funerals tomorrow. Owners Brent and Troy Minty say it is the shop?s way of showing respect and support for the fire department.

Pembroke Cleaners say all the work given to them will be completed in time for the funerals.
