BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say officers opened fire after they saw at least one man pointing a gun at others Monday evening.

Police say the incident happened around 6:30 near 123 Sanford Ave. They say officers saw one man with a shotgun and another possibly with a handgun. The man with the shotgun pointed it at people in a car, police say.

Authorities say they have three men in for questioning but no arrests have been made.
