BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport couple is planning to sue after a local bakery failed to deliver a paid-for cake to its wedding over the weekend.

Pedro and Josefina Colon say they paid Chaves Bakery $350 for the wedding cake. On the big day, the cake didn't show. The Colons say many of their guests were more focused on the missing cake than the wedding.

The manager at Chaves Bakery says one of the workers was sick on Saturday and forgot the order. She also says there was some kind of mix-up when the wedding party tried to call the bakery.

The manager is offering the Colons a refund, but they say it?s not enough.
